How To Tee off With A Driver
"TEE IT HIGH AND WATCH IT FLY" Part 1: Why you should be teeing high and famous words by Jack Nicklaus
3 Main Steps for Consistent Drives
1. Posture at set-up position2. Position of the Ball at Set-up Position
3. Position of the Hands at Set-up position
POSTURE:
The FRONT shoulder should be slightly higher than the BACK shoulder.A STRAIGHT spine angle from the base of the spine to the base of the neck.
Keep your weight even, DON'T tilt your weight forward on to your toes.
BALL:
Position the ball OPPOSITE the FRONT foot.No further back 2 to 3 cm,s inside the HEEL.
HANDS:
The position of the HANDS should be opposite the BALL.Slightly BEHIND the ball, NEVER in front of the ball with the DRIVER.
THE RESULT:
You will hit more FAIRWAYS, hit the ball LONGER and be a very HAPPY chappie.Following these TIPS will make it easier to make a FULL rotation of the SHOULDERS on the back swing, return
the club head to it's original position and strike the ball slightly on the UPSWING with a SQUARE club face
which will eliminate side SPIN on the ball. Longer, straighter and more powerful drives off the tee - what every golfer wants.
